U.S. Bank Senior Product Owner - BPA Lending Services in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Provides project and analytical support to assigned business line or functional area. Performs research, analysis, review, development, implementations, and monitoring of new and/or revised products/services. Acts as a project liaison with other departments. Analyzes current costs and estimates the cost or cost savings. Compiles and analyzes information for an assigned project or areas making recommendations based on findings. May supervise a team of project staff.

Position will support Agile product owners across the Commercial Lending Operations footprint in BPA. This position will help improve and strategize current Agile processes as well as support the migration of additional products to an Agile framework. This position will represent and support management in project meetings, tech planning efforts and other tasks as assigned. Position will work with multiple teams to continually improve and support Agile products.

The right candidate would also support a Scrum Master role.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities

  • Three or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Considerable knowledge of assigned business line or functional area

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Thorough knowledge of project management

  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Agile experience specifically in the product owner role

  • Familiarity with version one or other Agile tools

  • Scrum Master experience is desired but not required
