Project Financial Analyst

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for relatively large and complex programs, organizations, or proposals. Participate in budget preparation and authorize budget expenditures within Booz Allen Hamilton. Recommend procedures to be used to monitor programs, organizations, or proposals. Interpret and implement cost proposal estimating, pricing, and documentation requirements. Define parameters for estimate preparation. Provide work leadership for junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with professional level cost estimating, cost analysis, life cycle estimating, and problem–solving

-Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level

-Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities with varying due dates for deliverables

-Ability to identify, research, and solve financial problems

-Active Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree or 5 years of experience with financial analysis in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with applying formulas and functions to calculations and analysis in Microsoft Excel

-Experience in working with federal government contracts

-Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), federal budget process, and funds management

-Ability to accomplish financial forecasts based on bottom–up analysis and historical trends

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
