Group Portfolio Marketing Manager

Develop the strategy and help implement portfolio marketing programs for US Bank branded credit and debit products. Through a combination of internal/external research and an understanding of portfolio dynamics, manage the overall multi-channel strategy for customer engagement and communication across the life-cycle. Develops market level programs which support and enhance corporate programs and meet customer and portfolio needs and adhere to corporate strategies and standards. Coordinates processes between centralized teams, marketing and product groups to implement market level plans. Monitors results and recommends changes based on performance. Manages a staff of marketers.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising or related field

  • 10 or more years of experience in advertising or marketing industry

  • Five or more years of management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to work across internal and external cross-functional teams to drive results

  • In-depth Marketing or product management experience - Digital Marketing experience is a plus

  • Considerable knowledge of competitive market and retail financial services industry

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Superior organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to understand key financial metrics and results

  • Strong decision-making, people management and problem-solving skills
