Purpose of Position:

This position is responsible for managing the daily operation of a Protective Services field office, acting accordingly with the mission and vision of the agency, as well as utilizing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process in practice to achieve positive outcomes. The primary function is to monitor and supervise all functions of the local county office regarding programs, policies, procedures, service delivery, budget and personnel.

This position is a Pay Band 85.

CPS County Office Manager

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of experience in the management and direct provision of child welfare services, policy and procedure writing, and program research and development. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in child welfare totaling fourteen (14) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Employment Requirements:

Must possess and maintain a Driver's License. Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office setting: late hours, weekends, on-call and callback work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Travel may be required. Possible exposure to irate clientele. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Must have own mode of transportation.
